Welcome to the SPAG Coverage Grid

This grid is going to save you a lot of time! It may reinforce some of the concepts that you have already taught or may even be the very beginning of the journey for some of your pupils. The biggest change in the curriculum is the vocabulary being used to describe some of these elements. When 'openers' used to be enough, now only 'fronted adverbials' will do. Likewise, the trusty 'speech mark' is now an 'inverted comma.' If you need some help finding the difference between your perfect and continuous verb tenses, then look no further.

This resource is intended to be used for:
- starting a lesson (a quick introduction followed by a core task)
- a 10 - 15 minute revision session
- revision notes for the children (if you could place this in a shared folder such as Edmodo or OneNote!)
- as a recap at the end of a lesson (a plenary)
- to expose your children to example test questions

For the very low price of £2.99, get your SPaG Coverage Grid now!

If you are not directed back to this website after clicking on 'Return to Merchant,' please contact me straight away. If you don't get the option to 'Return to Merchant' at all you will not receive a link unless you contact me. I'll be more than happy to help.
Do not make another purchase. I will respond to your email within 24 hours (usually much less) with a link to the download. I will be able to match the name in your email with the payment made in PayPal. Thank you!

So What's Included?

There are a series of colour-coded pages, each correlating to the year group in which the curriculum programme suggests that they are taught. By the time pupils are in Year 6, you may wish to use the grid as a way of revising all of the key areas of which there are 35 of them here in the Coverage Grid.
There are 35 pages of information, which can be accessed from the 'buttons' on the Homepage. Each page has information, a link to a YouTube song, rap or piece of information, and a link to some test questions. There are also 35 pages of test questions which have been cut and pasted from existing practice papers produced by reputable online SPAG sites. That's a whopping 70 pages of awesome revision on one very easy-to-use Powerpoint Presentation.
